Winter Magic: Co-creation
Week 3 of "Seven Weeks of Winter Magic"
Week 3 of Seven Weeks of Winter Magic — a gentle tarot series to help you move through the holidays with intention. Each week brings one card for reflection, a simple grounding practice, and small inspirations for savoring the season on your own terms. A quiet companion for a bright, busy time.
In these last days before our big celebrations, it can be easy to feel busy and overwhelmed. But these days can also be the best part of the season if we go back to week one and revisit our values and what we wanted to give and receive this season. Check out the card and activity below to deepen your connections.

Card: The STAR
A woman pours water from two golden vessels, one into a pool, one onto the ground. A large star shines above her. The secretive Eleusinian mysteries of ancient Greece celebrated Persephone and Demeter, mother and daughter uniting to end winter’s hibernation and return fertility to the earth.
One of the Eleusinian rituals may have included pouring water onto the earth symbolically. The Star evokes the constant thread of divine intelligence running through generations, and the hope generated by them working together for the continuation of life.
Activity: Co-Creation
Make holiday gifts with a friend or family member
The Star card evokes a sense of hope through co-creation. Create gifts this year with a family member or friend.
Step 1: Choose a family member or friend and reach out to them. It could be your mother or daughter, your grandfather or son, or a friend you’ve been meaning to connect with more.
Step 2: Set a date once a week to work on the project, or whatever time frame works for both of you.
Step 3: Choose what you want to create and for whom. You could decorate a holiday tree and deliver it to someone who needs one. You could bake treats and deliver those to friends and family. You could crochet, knit or paint. You could compose music to sing, play or record as a gift.
Step 4: Meet and make!
Step 5: Give your gifts together. The message of the Star is Hope. Giving your energy to others in the form of co-creating something to give is a powerful act.
