Winter Magic: Celebration
Week 2 of "Seven Weeks of Winter Magic"
Week 2 of Seven Weeks of Winter Magic — a gentle tarot series to help you move through the holidays with intention. Each week brings one card for reflection, a simple grounding practice, and small inspirations for savoring the season on your own terms. A quiet companion for a bright, busy time.
Celebration + Community
While November was a good month to go inward and contemplate your current values, December is a natural time to consider how to bring those current values out into the returning light. It’s really a kind-of miracle that the return of light happens so deliberately and on-time year after year; it’s something to rely on and celebrate.
It’s also a perfect time to connect with those we love in celebration and gratitude. Take a few minutes to be inspired by the Tarot card and activity below and if you are in the North Bay, come by the Into The Magic Market at Buckeye Ranch.
The New Year can be a time of rest from the festivities but for these next few weeks, appreciate and enjoy the beautiful season, your friends and family, and the blessings we’ve been given.
xoxo Kary

Card: 3 of CUPS
The darkest night and return of the light to our life and days deserves to be acknowledged. It may even be an emotional time for you. Whether it is joyous or difficult, this card is a reminder that it’s important to take the time to mark this occasion with each other, and to make the most of the moment. Don’t just rush ahead through it, enjoy this time with friends and family, the preparing, the feasting, the shopping, the giving, because your day to day life—and the accompanying work—will soon resume.
Activity: Celebration
Most of us have at least one holiday festivity to attend or give. The focus this week is bringing yourself back to the present moment and enjoying it.
If you don’t have any big holiday events coming up, plan something, even if it’s just lunch with friends. This is a special time of year for connection that is not to be missed.
For those who do have events, (maybe many events!), be careful you don’t let the occasion go by too! It’s easy to get caught up in busyness, rushing, or making things perfect, and miss the beauty and joy of the season.
If you find this happening to you, (and you probably will!) it’s OK, just stop and reset with whatever tool works for you, pull a tarot card, breathe or whatever you need to slow down. Remember what is important to you and go from there.
